Zuzana Pustaiová’s Safety Report project explores the ways in which public discourse on nuclear energy safety is shaped. For her creative work, Pustaiová chose the Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant as her starting point. Having been born and raised nearby, her work also acquires a personal dimension. The project addresses timely questions that strongly resonate within society – issues of information, assumptions, and individual interpretations in the post-truth era. It reflects on the role of institutional reliability and responsible communication, while examining different perspectives and their impact on public opinion.
This publication accompanies the exhibition Safety Report at the 56th Les Rencontres d’Arles within the Discovery Award 2025 Louis Roederer Foundation, curated by César González-Aguirre.
